I received an award this morning.  To be completely honest, I'm not exactly sure what I did to deserve this but someone sure felt I deserved it and that someone was Emmett. He told me that it was my award and that had to put in on my shirt and not my skin. So it's only March and I'm in Ohio.  Isn't it a bit early for the flowers to be blooming?  The last two weeks, we have seen everyday hit the 70's or warmer. I've been up since 5am with Emmett.  He has literally been screaming,  almost the entire time. If you listen closely,  you can hear the fibers of my sanity snapping like twigs under a heavy foot step. I'm being driven closer and closer to this place called crazy.  I wish I could just have one normal normal day. Lizze had her final headache infusion session,  yesterday afternoon. She basically underwent 12 hours of pretty hardcore narcotics being pumped into her via IV. This was split up over two days and the sole purpose was to break her five weeks old migraine. She can only have this done one time a year,  at least as far as I know. It was almost exactly a year ago that she had this done to break a migraine that she had that lasted for months. The good news is that it appears to have worked.  I say appears to have worked because she still pretty heavily medicated.  We should have a better idea of where we stand as time goes on.  The downside to this is that it only treats the current…

It thought I would share a bit of the lighter side of the Lost and Tired family story.  This is a picture of my tiniest little minion,  Mr.  Emmett John.  He's all tuckered out after a really long day. He's peaceful,  quite and so friggin' cute.  I love him so much and these moments are among my most favorite. Daddy,  can I come with you?  How many times do we here that in the course of the day?  Please note that you can insert Mommy into that as well.  I didn't forget any of you amazing mothers out there :-) I hear this question countless times a day.  Majority of the time it's Emmett asking me the question. Elliott seems to be experiencing benefits from the Risperdal.  He seems a little more relaxed and had a warning free day at school today.  I'm really hoping the trend continues and he experiences more and more relief from his extreme level of anxiety. Every time change presents problems for the Lost and Tired family.  Personally,  I have adjusted to daylight savings time but my kids haven't. Typically,  it takes several weeks for them to adjust.  Their internal clocks are all screwed up,  so they don't sleep through the night.  At times they either can't fall asleep or they wake up at some ungodly hour.  Needless to say,  the boys don't sleep,  we don't sleep. We tried things like preparing them for the time change ahead of time but it never seems to make a difference. We just have to hunker down and wait this one out.  I realize that easier said than done but sometimes this just isn't much that can be done. How do your kids handle the time change? **Thanks for…
