We just arrived to the Cleveland Clinic and have checked in. Gavin survived the car trip okay. Besides sleepy and pale,  he was fine.  Thank God for small favors. The testing process is two parts and will last at least two hours. Gavin ate breakfast but hasn't had anything else because eating is was triggers the blood pressure crashes,  at least most of the time.  Needless to say,  he's hungry and sleepy but in a good and hopefully,  cooperative mood. I've got a bunch of pictures because the Cleveland Clinic is an absolutely beautiful campus. Thank you all,  so very much for your support,  thoughts and prayers. Nothing ever goes smoothly in the Lost and Tired family.  So when Gavin has to be at the Cleveland Clinic for autonomic testing,  we're packing our bags,  just in case. Gavin is already unstable and the drive alone is going to be a challenge.  We were in the car for 20 minutes yesterday before his blood pressure suddenly crashed. He got sick to his stomach,  pale as a ghost and physically, couldn't hold himself upright. On a good day,  we can make it to Cleveland in a little over an hour. Because of Gavin's sensitivity to everything right now,  we are preparing for the worst. It's about 1am and I just went to check on Gavin and he was having another seizure.  I swear my hope is dwindling that we are going to make it through this week. I'm already stressed out to the point that I'm getting sick to my stomach. I don't know how this is going to play out but I'm trying like hell to be positive.  Trust me when I say,  it's not easy. This will be a super quick, down and dirty update. Today we had our return to speech and OT.  Gavin and Elliott both did great in OT, however,  Gavin could not make it through speech without freaking out. Gavin has been off his blood pressure for only a day and he has already crashed.  This afternoon,  he had an autonomic crisis. Basically,  this means that his blood pressure suddenly crashed and he got sick and nearly passed out.  We happen to be in the car at the time and we had to pull over and part at Best Buy and let Gavin stabalize.  He couldn't physically hold himself up and it took about 30 minutes to get him stabilized and thankfully he didn't actually vomit.  That would have likely meant a trip to the hospital.  He seems to be doing fine now,  however this does raise some concern for the trip to Cleveland in the morning.  I have significant concerns about how he will handle the ride up…

The boys and I have arrived at speech and OT a little bit early.  Elliott and Gavin are both excited and ready to go. I inquired about Emmett once again and I'm waiting to hear back.  I hope to hear back ASAP because Emmett desperately needs to return to therapy.  What's the point of winning a battle with the insurance company if they don't process the paperwork.  He was approved at the beginning of May and it's now July. Today is a big day for the Lost and Tired family. Gavin makes his return to occupational and speech therapy.  Elliott will begin occupational therapy for the first time. This should make a big difference in both their lives and hopefully provide an important outlet for the energies as well. I'm a bit concerned about Gavin,  only because of,  well,  all his health issues. He's not only his blood pressure meds right now and I don't know how he will handle this.
