The first day of school 2012

The boys are all ready to go and will be on their way back to school for the first time this school year. While I will miss them, I also look forward to the break and I'm not ashamed to admit that. Hopefully,  everything will go well and everyone will make a smooth transition. I'm also really, really, really hoping that Gavin's body can handle school.  As bad as it sounds,  we need him out of the house as much as possible until we get residential in place.  :-( This was posted via WordPress for Android, courtesy of Samsung’s Galaxy S III. Does your child with #Autism benefit from animals?

This one is pretty simple.  Does your child with #Autism benefit from animals? Does your child have a favorite pet,  maybe a dog or a cat?  Has this pet helped your child in anyway? For example, does you child have a special bond or relationship with their pet? Please share your experience in the comments?  I would love to hear your stories.  :-) This was posted via WordPress for Android, courtesy of Samsung’s Galaxy S III. Please forgive any typos. Are you as stupid as Apple thinks you are?

You all know how I feel about Apple's business practices. I don't hate the their products, just the way the Apple does business. What does Apple think of you if they claim you can't tell the difference between these two phone? Are you as stupid as Apple thinks you are?

The Lighter Side of #Autism: Hide and Seek

So Emmett decided to play hide and seek,  without telling anyone.  He just sorta disappeared and I couldn't find him. I walked by that flippin laundry basket a few times before asking where he was.  Next thing I know,  there is little giggle coming from the couch.  This is where I found him.  :-)  Too stinkin cute.  Am I right? Of course I am. :-) This was posted via WordPress for Android, courtesy of Samsung’s Galaxy S III. Please forgive any typos. I do know how to spell but auto-correct hate me. 9 years down :-)

Lizze and I finally got the kids in bed and the house is once again quiet. The only exception is Maggie and Bella battling for dominance. That's kind of loud and annoying and obnoxious. My parents brought over some ribs and corn on the cobb for us tonight.  That was awesome and very thoughtful.  Everyone enjoyed dinner. So thank you. :-) Lizze's parent helped with school clothes for the boys and we are very greatful for that as well.  Thank you. Now we are going to settle to a night of Supernatural and split a bag of peanut M&M's. :-) I hope you all had a good day. Breaking up isolation with chores

Elliott and Emmett have been playing/fighting upstairs in my room for a little while now.  I called Gavin down in order to put his energy to good use.  I had Gavin help me around the house for a little bit.  We got most of the downstairs cleaned up.  Gavin loves to clean,  so it was like a a break for him.  However,  it served a purpose and helped me to get caught up in the house before Lizze got home.  I need her to take over for a little while because I have a deadline to meet today for an article and I'm almost done with it. Pulling Gavin iht of his room defeated the purpose but let's be honest,  it's not going to make a difference.  He could stay…

Do your kids ever drive you bonkers?

I love my kids.  I love them more than anything in the entire world. I would die for my kids in a heart beat. Obviously,  I hope it never comes down to that but if need be.... Having said that,  my kids can also drive me completely bonkers.  In fact, today is one of those days where they they have me at the very brink of insanity.  Emmett has been screaming all day,  literally.  Elliott is egging him on and shedding tears over every little tiny thing. Lizze went to the store with her mother to try to finish our back to school shopping and has left me home to manage the chaos.  :-( To add to the stress,  Gavin has been letting himself out of his room and tippy…
