I've never seen Lizze this bad.  She's been crying all day today because of the pain. My sister is hanging out with the two E's this afternoon so the house is finally quiet.  Lizze is in so much pain that she couldn't move herself off the couch to go upstairs.  She passed out on the couch and I covered her head with a sweatshirt to block out the light.  She's crying in her sleep and that's absolutely heartbreaking.  I have calls into the Cleveland Clinic as well as her neurologist in Canton. She's saying that she can't go on like this anymore.  :-(

Every once in awhile I feel the need to focus some attention on something that really needs to be addressed.  My trip up the soapbox today is brought to you by the semantics of #Autism. When I refer to the Semantics of #Autism, I'm referring to the splitting of hairs over word choice.  This has really become kind of disheartening and I'll tell you why.  Before I share why I find this disheartening, let me explain what's going on first.  Basically, this splitting of hairs is over whether one should say "a child with autism" or "an autistic child". In other words, if you are talking to someone about your child and Autism is brought up, should you say "Jonny has autism" or "Jonny is autistic"? In my opinion, either…

I grabbed this picture earlier. Emmett had fallen asleep while sitting with Mommy under the electric blanket on the couch. This was just too cute and I wanted to freeze that moment and subsequently share it with all of you. Isn't he just adorable? Emmett had an afternoon snack, chocolate pudding,  and then feel fast asleep on the couch.  This is what we call a food coma. A food coma is when you fall fast asleep after eating a snack or dinner.  This is most common around Thanksgiving, for example.  :-) His pudding stained face is just so precious.  :-)

My boys are multitalented and I love them very much. Having said that, they seem to excel in one particular area.  They can go from a clean room to a complete disaster area in no time flat.  Every night before bedtime, their room gets picked up and shortly after waking up in the morning, this is what I find.  :'(
