Guess who just showed up at my door? That's right, it was FedEx.  What where they carrying? You guessed it, tablets.  Who are these tablets for? My readers! Emmett managed to drag me away from work again this morning. He just had to play hide and seek. After a little bit of prodding from Emmett, combined with my weak resolve, we were playing games video and go seek.  I have to admit that while I should have been working, it was fun to play with him.  :-) Can you find Emmett in the picture below? Emmett is a fickle pickle when it comes to eating.  His food has to be perfect or he won't even think about eating it.  However, he will rarely ever say no to pudding, especially chocolate pudding.  Do your kids have a favorite food? I wanted to you all a line and let you know how Gavin's evaluation went today.  To sum it up in one word, awesome. The woman that did our evaluation was one of the nicest people I've ever met and one of the few people who seemed to really get it. Ya'll can probably relate to how amazing it feels when you meet someone that actually gets it. Gavin did awesome today as well.  He was really polite and patient throughout the lengthy interview.  I'm really proud of him and I made sure he knew it.  I guess we just need to wait for all the paperwork to go through.  We can go ahead and add this to the wind column. This morning, I was using our 2 year old Sunbeam therapeutic heating pad for my back. I had it set on a medium setting and I had it flat up against my lower back. I had my pillow behind me for lumbar support. Within a few minutes of turning the heating pad on, I began to smell what I thought was an electrical fire. The smell wasn't to bad at first and it went away but got worse after about 10 minutes of using the heating pad. We unplugged it just to be safe.
