UPDATE: I've been contacted by PNC's social media department and they want to help. I'm grateful for them reaching out and I look forward to speaking with them soon. UPDATE 2: It was suggested that I post a transmogrified copy of the check along with the date it was cashed. Here you go. Please notice that date on the check, the date it was cashed and the "void after 90 days". PNC informed me that they don't honor the "Void after 90 days". If that's the case, what's the point of having it on there? I don't make it a habit of using this blog to call attention to issues I'm having with a business or company. However, every once in awhile, we are impacted so severely by something…

I wanted to present the Today's #Autism Victory award to one Mr. Elliott Richard. Despite having been woke up at 4am by Emmett, he had a fantastic morning. He got dressed and out the door with out much problem at all. I'm really proud of him for his choices this morning. Great job Elliott, Daddy is sooooooo proud of you. How's your morning going so far? Me? I was awoke from a dead sleep at about 4am due to Emmett John screaming his head off. Turns out he was screaming at Elliott because Elliott had the nerve to be sleeping. Elliott handled it really well and just ignore or edit him. Emmett, undeterred by Elliott's ability to sleep through the screaming, decided to take his screaming into our room. Needless to say, the day began at the inhuman hour of way to friggin early. Today has just been a really trying day. We haven't had much luck this week so far and we still have a long way to go. Tuesday Therapy barely got off the ground but went out with a bang. We had to cancel speech and OT this afternoon due to car problems. That problem was a lack of fuel in the tank. I don't even want to get into the reasons why anymore. Gavin came home this afternoon and and was picked up around 5pm while we were at Dr. Patti's. Before we could get into see Dr. Patti, Elliott was having a meltdown and Gavin was freaking out in his grandmother's car. Elliott's meltdown lasted about 45 minutes and basically killed the entire appointment. I'm so exhausted right now. …
This week just keeps getting better and better. By the way, that was complete and total sarcasm. You may recall that I have been having some issues with PNC bank after they allowed a check for $1,200 to clear one of my accounts that only had a $2 balance. Instead of bouncing the check back, like they should have, they allowed it to clear my account even though I opted out of overdraft protection. The company that cashed the check, tried to fix the mistake by agreeing to rip the check up as soon as it bounced back. The problem is, the bank refused to bounce the check back. Likely because it benefited them to let it clear, especially considering the amount of fees I suffered as a result. A…
Guess who just showed up at my door? That's right, it was FedEx. What where they carrying? You guessed it, tablets. Who are these tablets for? My readers! I just received $1,000 worth of donated tablets from Idolain, with the expressed purpose of reviewing one and giving the rest away to my amazing readers. These are brand new models and stack up almost spec to spec with the iPad mini. I'm so excited to give these away. Right now, my plans are to give 3 away online and one to a local family. I'll be working with out OT to identify a family that would benefit most from this. Also, Lizze might host one of the 3 online giveaways as well. Stay tuned and check back frequently because I will…
