Emmett’s been up for awhile already.  Why?  Because now it's apparently his turn to be sick.  Right now it's pretty minor and just a runny nose. Having said that, for a child like Emmett, with Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder, a runny nose is a really big deal. He hates the feeling of his nose leaking and this will put him in a pretty foul mood.  I'm pretty sure this is a sensory and something we will continue to work on. Does something as simple as a runny nose, drive your sensory sensitive child crazy? Is there anything you have found that helps? Elliott's been sick for about 5 days now but should be returning to school in the morning.  He's been doing pretty well today but still has a cough, on occasion. We'll see how he's feeling in the morning but so long as nothing changes in the next 8 hours or so, he will be back in the saddle.  Thankfully, Elliott enjoys school but there will still be a period of adjustment for him after so many days off.  I've got some work to catch up on today and Lizze is still battling her migraine so, I'm doubt much is going to get done.  Emmett is going to want me to play with him all day long but he'll have to settle for something in the middle because I really, really…

Today has been one of those days that just seems to go on and on.... Having said that, for a Sunday, it's been pretty good.  The boys have been getting along pretty well Lizze got to catch up on some sleep.  I even got to speak on the phone to a really good friend of mine. Emmett actually fell asleep about 15 minutes ago, so Lizze took him to bed.
