We took the boys to the playground today and they made a new friend.  I only got a couple of pictures because I didn't want to take pictures of someone else's kid. They had fun and that was really nice.  It was fun to see the kids, just being kids. My goal is to fill this summer with moments like this.  :-) Did you do anything with your kids today? One of the things that I'm making a concerted effort to do, is be a better parent. We have a lot going on and I'm personally battling with depression as well.  Sometimes motivating myself to do things with the boys is really difficult.  It's not that I don't want to, it's just that I'm always so tired from everything I have to do and all the stress I'm under.  Having said that, I'm really wanting to be a better parent and spend more time with the boys and provide them with a life outside the walls of our house. Lizze is really sick today.  Her migraine is the worst its been in awhile.  She's also in a fibro flare and is dealing with nausea and tummy issues.  She's absolutely exhausted and miserable.  We so need to get to the bottom of this and figure out what we can do to help her. The plan is to begin that process this coming week.  We are supposed to call in the morning get the appointments made because her doctor is concerned that the damage being done to her body could become permanent. This is not a good way to begin the week.  It's never a positive thing to begin a trying week, already under the weather. There are times that I will walk into a room and find something sorta strange.  It's just kinda left there with no explanation or indication of who was responsible. The other day I walked into the upstairs hallway, and this is what I found. It's like a torture rack for stuffed animals.. We actually use this thing as a gate to keep the dogs upstairs at times.   The stuffed animals are obviously the boys stuffed animals.  Anyway, I've come to expect this type of thing.  Sometimes it's amusing and other times it can be a little creepy.  It's always interesting to see how they think and what they do when I'm not watching.  This is the animal rack....... Tonight was supposed to go very differently than it did.  We were supposed to have the night to ourselves to get some much needed rest and alone time.  Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned.  Emmett wasn't supposed to have his little alone time ending crisis tonight. We were supposed to go to sleep tonight and wake up when our bodies were ready to wake up. Instead, both boys are home and we'll be lucky to sleep past 6am. Sunday isn't going to bring with it a day of no kids, like it was supposed to.  Our plans have been completely derailed once again.  Having said that, I'm okay.
