Emmett is actually sick. He’s in the middle of a fever flare but he’s actually sick at the same time. I don’t know if that has ever happened before.
I thinks it’s just a head cold but still. He’s already dealing with enough, now his nose is runny and he’s sneezing snot everywhere. I don’t know about your kids but Emmett almost panics when his nose is runny. He hates that feeling. Maybe it’s a sensory thing, I don’t know.
Do you experience a similar reaction when your kid has a runny nose? Does it seem like a sensory thing to you as well?

It could be a sensory thing. It happens randomly to me sometimes..
I would assume it is sensory. Although, my son has suffered chronic nosebleeds from about 2yrs old so is used to the sensation. But try and expose him to anything that has ‘flowing’ water, such as a shower, hose, water pistol, etc.. and he will panic so much he can become violent! He describes it as having pins & needles hitting him.
Hope you’re feeling better soon, Emmett. x
I assume it's sensory. My son has severe seasonal allergies and when he sneezes or his nose runs, it disables him… he stands frozen still and screams until he's all cleaned up, which usually means a change of clothes and all. Then he immediately calms down like nothing happened. On the bright side, when somebody in the room sneezes, he's first to run and give them a tissue.
