My God,  it’s way to friggin early to be up already.  However,  Emmett has been up for hours and has already have several meltdowns.  He just screams and screams and screams,  for no decernable reason.

I’m sure there is something behind these meltdowns,  but hell if I know those reasons are.

I think that life is just rough for Emmett and he doesn’t know how else to handle it. Something will have to give and give soon. I can’t keep this up forever..

So sorry Rob — might it be something scaring him? My son with OCD use to wake up between 2 and 5 in the morning and was screaming and yelling, and he could communicate so he thought something was getting him — usually some game he'd play before bedtime, or a movie (even cartoons – kiddie ones, bothered him -) he was/is overly sensitive to "imagery", one of his sensory dysfunction areas. Well, I always thought it was some brain chemistry malfunction, and in a way it was. Once he was on the right medication it all calmed down and it hasn't happened in a good 2 yrs now, unless he gets sick — illnesses through him off completely. We don't allow tv or computer games for 2 hours before bedtime. Just some thoughts here.

Thanks everyone. We do the same thing.

Well, that is not a good way to wake up! Hopefully, the day (and everyday) will improve. Poor little guy.
