We’ve had a pretty eventful day. The boys did great at school today and that’s ways a good thing. ☺
On the way home, Emmett informed us that he was invited to another birthday party, only this time it was less than 24 hours notice. They passed out invitations at the end of the day on Friday for a birthday party the following day.
That’s kinda short notice and Emmett won’t be home. Actually, Emmett and Elliott won’t be home. They’re going to be at their grandparents.
I feel bad and I hope someone is able to make it but that short of notice is kinda hard to work with.
Anyway, after picking the boys up, we all went over to my parents house to hang out with my Grandpa for a few hours. My parents were going to an out of town wedding and so we hung out with him while they were gone.
Actually, it was a team effort..
We were there until about 6 PM and then two of my brothers came over. They brought him dinner and spent the evening watching the Indians game together. ☺
Wow, that is crazy short notice for a party. Why can’t Emmett go straight from his grandparents? I know as a kid a birthday party was something that I never wanted to miss.
Because it would be too much for him and frankly, we need the break. He’d have to come home early to go and we need the downtime.
