Have you ever noticed that kids will say the cutest things.  When raising 3 boys on the Autism Spectrum,  there seems to be a steady stream of cute and interesting things that come out of there filterless mouths.

Yesterday,  I was helping Emmett to play his new favorite game called Where’s my water.  After beating the level he was stuck on with all 3 duckies,  he wrapped his little arms around my neck and said,  “Mank You, Daddy, you are the best brother in the world”.

What can you say to that besides… Thank you…..  🙂

You know what's nicest about him saying this? His interpretation of the meaning of the word 'brother' is someone who helps him…

An inspector came to my classroom one year. He had a flashlight on his belt. One of my students asked him if he was a worker. "Yes, I am" replied the inspector. "Can you fix our table? " asked the student. "No, I can't" said the inspector. "Can you fix our door… our window…. our computer…?" To each of those questions, the response was, "no". The child put his hands on his hips and said, "Well, then. You are NOT worker!" The maintenance workers following the inspectors high-fived my student! 🙂
