Today was crazy busy. I was up all night with Elliott only to be up in time to make it. To Akron Children’s Hospital before 8am.
After 2 successful appointments, we made our way home. I had to pick up some prescriptions get a few other things done. I made a few return calls and got a few posts done for the blog.
I got the kids fed, medicated and ready for bed. Elliott and I finished his make up work and as I finished a load of laundry.
Now I’m gonna try to get some sleep because I have another full day at Akron Children’s Hospital in the morning with Gavin’s 5th antibody infusion. It’s gonna be a very, very long day. 🙁
Sometimes it seems so hard, I know. I am the divorced mother of 5, 4 of whom fall somewhere into the spectrum. What should be simple days, can sometimes turn into quite the trial. My marriage of over 20 years dissolved due to the fact that my now ex-husband decided he could not deal with the differences between our children and those of his friends. I truly believe that special children are given to special people. Stay strong! There's light at the end of the tunnel. : ) Oh, and naps are an endangered species for parents like us, so grab 'em every chance you get! Be well!
So very nice to meet you. Naps have been on the endangered species list for years. Very hard to come by 🙂
