Alrighty folks, the moment has arrived. Lizze and I have spent the last couple of days, scrambling to get everything we need for this trip of a life time. We ended up spending way more than we had planned because everyone needed new clothes.

The positive side of this is that the clothes will last way longer than this trip and truthfully, we all desperately needed them. I’m not sure if it will impact the trip at all but it really shouldn’t. It will however, impact life when we return home, but we’ll figure it out.

Maggie has been boarded and my Mom acclimated to the ferrets. ☺

For the most part, we are packed and need only to move everything to the van in the morning. We are waiting until morning out of fear that someone will break into the van while we’re sleeping. It’s happened a few times before and we’d like to avoid that.

I’m exhausted and probably won’t write again until we reach Charlotte, North Carolina.
