So I was looking at our calendar after Lizze finished updating it for the week. We have 12 appointments between now and Thursday of this week. That doesn’t include school for Emmett either or anything else thats currently pending.
This is one of the more difficult things to balance as special needs parents. There always seems to be a never ending stream of ever increasing appointments.
Even though the appointments keep growing the amount ofbtime in the day remains the same. This is going to be a long week, especially if Emmett is having a PFAPA flare up. He is going to be a cranky crab, as he likes to put it, all week.
I’m still in the market for a happy place. Anyone have any ideas?

My son wasn’t responding well at his psychologists and he finally verbalized that he was going to often. It can definitely wear them out. Wears me out. Love your blog by the way!
Dont you just get so tired of the appointments and the paper work … and the poor kids, it just stresses them out having to be prodded and poked …. I turned up at a doctors office one day with the wrong son …lol .. Because we are in the country some (most) of our appointments are an 8 hour round trip …times that by 3 …all the different specialists for all the differing conditions … blah worn out kids before you start
It\’s exhausting for everyone. With 12 appointments in a 3 day period of time it leaves little time for anything else. Plus the kids get overwhelmed and oversimulated. It days days for the to recover from something like this. People don\’t seem to get that.
Thanks for sharing. I feel your pain. 😉
