I wanted to take a minute and share a few quick thoughts on the Contigo Autoseal Chill water bottle and Travel Mug I received to try out.
Over the years, I’ve accumulated quite a collection of water bottles and travel mugs. The ones that I find myself gravitating to are the ones by Contigo.
I received a couple new samples the other day and I’m quite happy with them. The Contigo Autoseal Chill water bottle claims to keep things cold for 28 hours. I haven’t had them for a full 28 hours but I put cold water in the water bottle about 12 hours ago and it’s still ice cold.
That’s impressive, no matter how you look at it.
Normally, water doesn’t last for for more than an hour or so before I’ve consumed it and in need of a refill. I suppose it’s nice to know that it’s still ice cold after 12 hours but frankly, I’m not sure who needs to keep a single, 24oz bottle of water cold for so long.

As for the physical machanics of the bottle itself, it works well and the water pours out quickly when the button is pressed. There’s saw involved. It’s just you, some cold water, and gravity. ☺
I haven’t had a chance to try out the travel mug, but the main difference between this one and the previous Contigo travel mugs in my kitchen, is a ceramic lining. This is supposed to reduce the metallic taste some people complain about.
Outside of that, it keeps things hit for up to 8 hours. I’ll update this quick review, should their be any major discoveries while using the ceramic lined travel mug.
In closing, I just wanted to thank Contigo for the samples. We love their products and they work out well with the kids. Having something cool to drink water out of, can make drinking water more cool. lol
I love my autoseal coffee mug it’s the only one I’ve found that never leaks. Handy when you are… https://t.co/VBPJeGg0Fx
