I had a really hard time sleeping last night. I think it was mostly allergies because I was really stuffy. Anyway, Lizze and I both slept in because we could. She’s off to class, and the boys should be home from their grandparent’s house any minute.
As much as I need a break from the stress and chaos, I really miss them when they’re gone.
Actually, they just got home, so I’m going to cut this short for now. 🙂

I can so relate. My mum has come from interstate to care for the boys and give us a break. I’m exhausted and overwhelmed beyond belief but it’s not even been 24 hours and I miss them like crazy.
Oh and I don’t think I’ve mentioned before, I have 2 boys with ASD (8 & 5).
When my wife and we’re separated, the boys lived with me full time. Visitation was really hard for me because I needed the break but I missed them like crazy and I couldn’t stand it.
It doesn’t make sense unless you’re living it and even then it’s confusing… Thanks for sharing a little bit of your life.. ☺
