Emmett came home from school in a really bad mood.  There’s no rhyme or reason for it, at least that I can tell.  He had a meltdown that lasted close to an hour and only ended when I was finally able to convince him to let me swing him in his hammock.

I’m not sure what set him off but maybe it was nothing.  Maybe it was something.  Maybe it’s the onset of another fever cycle. Who knows.

It’s really hard not to allow that to set the tone for the rest of the day.  😕

The evening did improve but Emmett was teetering on the edge of a meltdown all night long.  He’s still not sleeping and it’s almost 11pm.

Calming him down required me to spend a large part of the day doing what you see in the video.  It only gets old for one of us…but it helps and I love him, so it continues until I can’t feel my arms anymore.  Lol
