The boys will be leaving for their Mom’s in about an hour or so. They will be celebrating Elliott’s birthday tonight, as today’s his birthday…
It sucks for me a bit because I hate that things are the way they are but having no control over this, I’m focusing on the bright side. The boys get to spend time with their family and that’s a good thing.
The boys and I celebrated Elliott’s Birthday with him last night and so as much as I wish things were different, it’s okay. All that matters is that Elliott’s happy and has a great birthday because he absolutely deserves it.
Anyway, their Grandma will be by to pick them up, shortly after they arrive home from school..
I believe the boys are pretty excited to go and that’s awesome. We’ve come such a long way since these visits started and they went from disasters to most positive. ☺
The upside for me tonight is that I will have a night to myself for the first time in about a month. I definitely need the break but will anxiously await their return home… ☺
