Autism or not, kids are going to drive their parents crazy.  That’s just sort of a right of passage.  We did to our parents and our kids do it to us. 

Elliott and Emmett were all over the place tonight, especially Elliott. 

They were wound so tightly, that bouncing off the walls doesn’t quite describe it.  I’m not sure what was going on but I was so stressed out my head was pounding.

The boys really tested the limits of my patience tonight and while I had to raise my voice a few times just to get their attention but I never really lost my cool. 

I’m proud of that because it wasn’t easy. 

I’ve been up since 3am yesterday morning with Emmett and I just can’t quite explain how completely exhausted I am. 

The ironic part is that I can’t sleep tonight….  It sucks but the 3rd season of Hemlock Grove just came out today and I’m binge watching it right now. 

The boys are going to my parents at some point today and I’ll grab a nap… ☺
