Emmett had a really, really hard time sleeping last night and has been up since 4am-ish.

Since it’s been time to get ready for school, he’s been freaking out over everything and I have no idea what’s going on with him.

He’s refusing to go to school on a day where I literally don’t have the time to deal with this. Gavin’s got to be at Akron Children’s Hospital shortly after the boys arrive at school.

I’m writing this from timeout because I needed to remove myself for a few minutes..

Time for me to get back to my life… ☺

That’s an interesting thought… You can’t really force a kid like Emmett to do anything with major consequences.. Emmett had minor issues going to school last year but Lizze had just left. I don’t know what’s really going on with him but it will be the topic of tonight’s appointment

I’m curious what would happen if you took any responsibility for the decision to go/not go to school away from him and told him that he could scream or cry or rant as much as he wanted, but he was going to school.  Also, what does Dr. Pattie have to say about all of this?  I don’t recall the boys having issues with school last year, or at least if they did, you didn’t post about them much.
