This morning Emmett woke up in sensory hell. I’m not sure what happened but definitely struggling today. It took forever and a day to get him dressed because he simply wasn’t tolerating anything on his skin.
It took every trick in the book to help him tolerate his clothes this morning.
My ears are still ringing from all the screaming. He was so upset and uncomfortable that it took me 25 minutes to finally get his shoes and socks on.
His socks were feeling funny today and there wasn’t really anything thing I could do to make it better.
Eventually, he was able to tolerate his socks and shoes but it took putting them on and taking them off a out a dozen times before they felt right.
I truly hate seeing my kids struggle with things like this.
The tone for the day has been set. My goal is to turn everything around and have a much better morning.

Have you tried: http://www.smartknitkids.com?
I was also going to suggest turning the socks inside out. That way the seam isn’t as bothersome
I. Understand completely what Emmet is going through , some days are better than others ,
My kids turn their socks inside out.
Fever flare on the way?
When that happens for my son, I take the socks off and give deep pressure to his feet. Squeeze as hard as I can and he can tolerate. Then socks and shoes, go on without a problem. Hope he gets some relief soon. I hate sensory issues.
Do you think it might have something to do with the weather?
