This #Autism Dad is grateful for tonight’s downtime with his wife

Here’s a bit of good news for a change.  We’re childless tonight.  That’s right, the boys are with their grandparents. While we aren’t able to really do anything, we don’t have to really do anything. 

The truth of the matter is that sometimes it’s just nice not having to do anything. 

As a parent to three special needs kids, one medically fragile and having a wife with significant health issues of her own, there really aren’t many times when there is nothing to do.

I would love to be able to take Lizze out to a movie or something but I’m beyond grateful that we just have some downtime together. 🙂
