I thought I had hit a home run with dinner tonight and I think on most nights it would have been a grandslam. However, it didn’t quite work out as planned.

Oh.. they had a marvelous time making dinner but a bit less fun actually eating it.

Elliott ate about half his dinner and Emmett only picked at it because the pepperoni was to sweaty. He was referring to the grease.  He was so cute.  I was told to wrap it up so he could eat it for lunch tomorrow.

Elliott got a little bit aggressive with the pizza sauce and so his second mini pizza was too soggy. Maybe next time we’ll have better luck.

My kids like making those so I have some experience. I always toast the English muffins or bagels just to slightly brown them to prevent the sog factor. Also you can put the pepperoni in a paper towel and press them to cut down on the grease and then do it again after they cook just dab the grease with a paper towel. I so feel your pain but at least you tried and you made great memories
