Today is going to be exceptionally challenging

This morning, the boys were up again about 4 am. By 4:30 am, thet were already fighting. Gavin was the only one still sleeping, as he is still recovering from everything that happened yesterday.

I can’t even begin to explain how tired I am right now.

Lizze got up with the boys around 6:30 am.  She let me sleep but I was up by 8:15 am and unable to go back to sleep.  I decided to get up because I knew Lizze needed to go back to bed.

She is supposed to be attending a Christmas party at her parents house today but she’s probably not going to go because she’s feeling so poorly right now.  I’m trying to encourage her to go because she really needs the distraction but if she’s sick, she’s sick.

Gavin is doing pretty good this morning, at least so far.

One of the things I’m hoping for right now is for yesterday’s infusion to help him finally kick this respiratory bug he’s had for almost 2 weeks now.

It’s going to be a long day.  I have editing to do for work and some research to do as well.  I’m praying that the boys cooperate, at least to some extent, because I really, really have to get these things done today.

Lizze will likely be out of commission for the day and so I’m probably not going to have a lot of help.

Today is not only going to be really long but a also a day of prioritizing and attending to what’s most important first and everything else, second.

Prioritizing is great. We all need to step back and do that for sure
