I wanted to let everyone know that Gavin is feeling much better after benadryl and a nap.  The swelling in his eyes has gone and they aren’t bothering him anymore.

At this point, I would say that this is most likely allergies, albeit new ones.

Lizze said that this is how her allergies began when she was younger. One day, her eyes just began itching, hurting and swelled shut.  It looks like we will have to explore other options as far as allergy meds go. At the very least, we may need to supplement his current regime with eye drops.

We will make an appointment at Akron Children’s Hospital with his allergist.

Breathe out…… 🙂

Poor Gavin , give him our love. Both Khai and my daughter experience allergy reactions to things. At the moment they are both sneezing terribly. We have cotton fields around us and they are spraying. I wonder if these sprays affect my children. 🙁
