All three of my boys love playing video games. Recently, Emmett has really gotten into playing the Xbox 360. We’re pretty selective about what we allow him to actually play.

One of his favorite games is Viva Piñata.

Talk about exploring the far reaches of his imagination. He’s able to create these beautiful gardens and attract and subsequently care for these colorful piñata type creatures.

It’s an older game but most definitely a good one, especially for kids.

It’s really cool to watch him create and care for these virtual gardens and treat them as though they were real.

Is there a particular game that your kids really love to play?

@rmagliozzi Are those PC games?

@lostandtired  @rmagliozzi Yes, they are PC games. http://www.animaljam.com, and http://www.roblox.com, I think. Basic versions are free, and you can subscribe if you want access to extra “goodies” and points the games offer. Animal jam has a $5 a month membership I did for the boys, but we don’t pay monthly for other games online. Animal jam also has a feature where kids can chat and play games with their buddies online, so Elliot’s friends can also participate with him, with all parents supervising and onboard, etc. There’s also a moderator to keep things safe too, I believe.
