Emmett is in absolute rare form today.  He’s exhausted and in desperate need of a nap however, he won’t take one. We’ve tried skipping naps but he’s a tyrant if he doesn’t get one.

We’ve tried reading books or laying down while watching his favorite shows.

Lizze was trying to get him to simply lay down and he punched, hit, scratched and kicked her.

He hasn’t shown this type of behavior in a very, very long time.

When Lizze and I are both as stressed out as we are currently,  this fuels the fear of him experiencing at least some regression.

Lizze is pretty beaten down right now, figuratively speaking. 

I wish there was some way of looking at Emmett and knowing what’s wrong or why he’s so upset. Unfortunately, that’s not always possible. The best we can do is guess but that involves a whole lot of screaming and a bit of trial and error.  🙁
