This isn’t anything serious, but he does complain of tummy aches and we need to get to the bottom of it.

Anyway, while we were out, I needed to stop by the music store and pick up a couple XLR cables for the ever growing, makeshift home studio I’ve setup for the podcast. While we were there, Emmett became very interested in the guitars. I asked if he’d be interested in learning to play. He said yes, and I checked into it. It’s not very expensive and I feel like it might be a really good outlet for him.

It’s something that I’m going to encourage if he’s interested. He needs a constructive, healthy outlet and learning an instrument is an awesome thing.

As the day came to a close, I was happily surprised when Elliott and Emmett asked if they could have a guys night in the living room. I was upstairs working and I thought, hell, if they’re getting along, why not? I really feel like we ended the day on a positive note and I’m really grateful that they were able to spend some quality time together tonight, without fighting.

I don’t have any major plans for Sunday. I’m gonna finish prepping for this week’s interviews, work on mixing next week’s episode and get some laundry done. Still feeling quite motivated and I like it. ☺

I can assure you that playing an instrument has given me a great deal of pleasure most of my life.
