While I was still working on the, Akron Children’s Hospital dropped off Gavin’s IVIG Infusion supplies for next month. Gavin was getting nervous because he was out of supplies and wasn’t sure when they were going to arrive. Needless to say, he feels much better now.
The boys and I headed to my parents house tonight for a special, fun Halloween dinner. My mom is incredibly creative and has a ton of fun putting this together for them every year. After dinner, the kids carved pumpkins, as is tradition.
Mr. Emmett really, really tried my patience because he wanted to do these impossibly complicated and very frustrating designs. He spent forever on his design and he was not going to give up, no matter what.
These of course, are the finished products. The kids are pretty happy with them and while I’m exhausted, everyone had a lot of fun and that feels good to say that. I’m super thankful for Emmett accepting his pumpkin as is, even though it wasn’t perfect by his standards, he seems good and that’s awesome.
I’m so totally going to bed now. I’ll catch you guys later.
Just reading your blog and looking at these pics makes me happy. Good it was a fun day for all!
