I found a great way to disconnect and spend time as a family

I want to end the day on a positive note, by sharing something cool that the boys and I did as a family. A large part of this was Emmett and myself. Frankly, Emmett was the muscle behind this puzzle. ☺

Emmett is huge into things like board games and puzzles. He really enjoys doing these things as a family but unfortunately, not everyone else does.

Recently, Emmett has become fascinated with puzzles, especially those with hundreds of pieces and complicated pictures. I ordered him one off of Amazon and it was delivered on Sunday.

Buffalo Games – Cats Collection – Sweet Shop Kittens – 750 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

We worked on it for a little while Sunday night and it even attracted the attention of both Elliott and Gavin. There was a period of time Sunday night where all four of us were working together on this 750 piece puzzle.

It was tons of fun and Emmett can put these things together like a machine. His mind is so amazing and I’m just trying to keep up. 😉

I think we put a total of maybe two or three hours into this before finally completing it after only one day. I think we’re going to make a habit of this and I need to find a puzzle company that wants to sponsor our family puzzle nights. This is a great opportunity to spend time as a family, disconnected from the internet and our devices.

We will absolutely continue doing this as we move forward. ☺

If you’re interested in this particular puzzle, you can grab it on Amazon. I don’t have any connection to this company and so this is simply a recommendation based on personal experience.

Good on the kids for not becoming frustrated with the puzzle or each other!! Looks like they all had fun.

Oh my goodness! I remember doing some puzzles as a kid and we never would’ve gotten one done in a day. Sounds like great fun.
