Weighing in is something I try to remember to do each week but clearly not always on a Wednesday. It simply involves standing on the scale and checking my weight loss progress.
The whole point is to both hold myself accountable, while hopefully encouraging others to take better care of themselves.
As you can see in the above image, I’ve been managing to steadily lose weight for a large portion of 2018. As of yesterday, I’m continuing my trend of weighing less than I have in almost two years now.
I’ve been using the Nokia Body Cardio Smart Scale for about a year, courtesy of Nokia Health. ☺
I haven’t weighed under 300 lbs since I first crossed that threshold during the summer of 2014. At my worst, I hit 340 lbs earlier this year and I decided something had to give.
As of yesterday, I’m down to 306.2 lbs. That’s a total weight loss of 33.8 lbs this year and I’m super proud of myself. It’s not been easy but it’s worth it. I want this to be a slower, more deliberate process because crash dieting will only lead to failure.
Instead, this is about a lifestyle change and sustainable progress. This is part of my focus on self-care and it really does make a difference. ☺
You can definitely see the weight loss on your face!! Way to Go!
Good for you Rob!
Thanks Becky… ☺
