I went to bed early for me. At some point, Emmett woke up with a nightmare and was terrified. If not for him climbing into bed with us, I probably would have had a decent night’s sleep.

I’m going to walk this morning and hopefully get the day off on the right foot.

Everyone should be going to school, although Elliott’s claiming to not be feeling well. The longer he’s awake, the better he seems to be doing. As much as I want to want to go walking, I don’t. I’m really pushing myself this morning but it’s worth it..

Exercising when you don’t want to his hard but is almost always worth it. Don’t forget that today is weigh in Wednesday, I’m excited to see your progress from last week. : )

Unrelated to your weight but related to health in general, how is Lizze’s father? My mom had a double bypass many years and ago and recovery was an uphill battle. Hope he’s doing well.

Thanks Kim. It sucked while I was doing it but it feels great having done it. Make sense?

Her Dad had a quintuple bypass. Everything went well and he’s currently home. Recovery is a challenge I think because that’s a major life event and requires major life changes.

He’s doing good though and seems to have a good outlook. Thanks for asking Kim.. ☺

I’m not sure how close you are with her father, but the two of you could help each other. He has probably been told to start walking and that is something that maybe you and he (and Gavin) could all do together. This could also be a good opportunity for both of you to start eating better and making better ‘heart healthy’ food choices. Help each other develop the good habits that will keep you on a good path to healthy living.
