The house burned down

Our day hasn’t gone as planned and for the most unusual reason. We woke up this morning to find the house across the street burning. It’s been abandoned for awhile so no one was hurt.

It’s very likely to be arson, as there has been abandoned houses being torched around the city.

We weren’t even able to get the boys to school because we were surrounded by charged, four-inch lines. Both ends of the street were blocked off by trucks and ambulances.

This all began around 3 AM this morning, and twelve hours later, they’re now tearing the house down.

We are finally about to drive down the street again.

On a plus side, that house has brought nothing but trouble. It won’t be missed in the slightest. I’m just glad no one was living there when it happened.

That’s a big deal though. Glad you all are all right.

Thanks.. We slept through most of it but Gavin woke up at 3 AM to the sirens and the raging fire across the street. He was really scared but never came and got us.

The house is completely gone now..

As long as no one was hurt, maybe it will help your neighborhood in the short term, at least. But still hella disorienting.

That’s what I’m hoping
