It’s been such a long day and I’m sure you’re all surprised to hear that I’m exhausted. I feel like I’ve been on the go for most of the day and spent all my remaining energy along the way. 😁
For this entry, I’m going to focus on Emmett’s eye appointment. The rest can wait until later on.
The long and short of it is, Emmett’s appoint went well. Emmett did a great job, especially considering how long we were at Akron Children’s Hospital today. Emmett did great with the eye drops that dilated his eyes, and great with all the lights shone in his eyes during the exam.

Those bracelets annoy me too when they’re not put on right- they tend to rub your wrists in an uncomfortable way. Anyway, I know you don’t have ‘normal’ sleep patterns and what you get is usually broken up, but there’s no good reason that day should have exhausted you. From your telling, you dropped the boys off at school, picked them back up and then drove to the eye doctor. I honestly don’t understand what is so exhausting about that and am genuinely wondering if there is something more going on with your physical health that is causing it.

You have to understand that all of this is cumulative. Just because I have one day that isn’t that crazy, all the other days that were, still impact. It’s also exhausting when Gavin is constantly talking, asking questions or doing just doing the things that he does every single day.
I appreciate your concern and your question.
Fair enough. The constant talking would make me crazy, I’m sure.
Oh Kim… I swear to God it’s like torture after a little while….
