We’re all checked in and waiting to be called back. Oh… I should have mentioned that Emmett has his ADHD intake with his pediatrician today. This is the same appointment that Elliott had last week, minus the headache stuff.
I’m not expecting this to be a challenging appointment unless they try to clean his ears out. He needs to have his ears cleaned out and Lizze is home with Gavin because neither are feeling super great today.
This is a big appointment in the sense that we had to move to his pediatrician for his ADHD management and can finally get refills again.
I’ll let you know how it goes….
Does he have some sort of ear condition? Why would he need to have his ears cleaned by the pediatrician? I remember that you thought he was deaf a long time ago, is this related to that?
Kim, you are just full of good questions. 🙂
There’s no condition with his ears. He just sometimes gets lots of ear wax. We thought his ears were clogged again cause he’s talking loudly……
I feel like I’ve asked this before but I forget the answer… why did they think he was deaf? Was he in essence just ‘ignoring’ sounds around him?
He actually failed every single hearing test and ever responded to sound. Ignoring probably isn’t the right word. It was like he tuned it out. I’m not sure the exact mechanics but that’s what was happening. He wouldn’t even react if we snuck up behind him and banged pot lids together.
FYI: I was sent an update and the issues with this commenting system have been fixed. Please let me know if you have any problems
