Rather than say sure Dad, I’ll let you know, he tells us that he doesn’t have any idea what we’re talking about.  Between him telling us about this a couple of days ago and now, he lost all memory of this ever happening.

It’s not like he was unaware when it happened, he told us what happened and that his vision went dark. In fact, it happened twice within 15 minutes or so. Now all of a sudden, as far as he’s concerned, it never happened.

This is so frustrating because we know it happened and we know he remembered it for a couple of days after but now he doesn’t..

He’s not messing with us or being difficult because he doesn’t outright lie about anything anymore. I don’t think he’s even capable of lying anymore. He’s also really frustrated with himself for not remembering as well.

At this point, all we do can do is watch him closely and make sure he knows to tell us if anything weird happens.

It’s never a dull moment when you’re an Autism parent. It’s really frustrating at times and things like this make it incredibly difficult to manage situations like this… 🙁
