Medications are second nature to my family. We never rush to them but sometimes they play a vital role in helping to stay healthy and increase quality of life.
I know not everyone is comfortable putting their child on meds but my wife and I decided long ago that it wasn’t about what mad eus feel comfortable. Our decision to medicate or not medicate is based solely on what in the best interest of the child in question and the trusted advice of our team of doctors.
We can’t do right by our kids if we make it about how we feel rather than what they need.
That being said, I wanted to give you an idea of what medication time looks like for Gavin.
