I mentioned that Lizze and I had dinner with my parents last night but didn’t really go into details.  This was the first time all four of us have sat down for dinner together in at least two years. 

My parents are so awesome and supportive. 

The purpose of the dinner was to learn as much as they could about what Lizze was going through,  so they could be more supportive and have a better understanding of what happened 19 months ago. 

We also discussed how to help normalize relations with family members who were still unsure of what to think, feel or say in regards to Lizze moving back home. 

Lizze really opened up to my parents and helped them understand better what was going on and she did a really good job.  

While it was emotionally exhausting, it was also a really nice dinner and conversation. Like I said, my parents are awesome. ☺️
