I mentioned that there were changes made to the way my Depression is being treated. I’m finally here to explain what that means and how the rest of my check up went.
First of all, I got some really good news while I was there, in regards to my lab work I had done.
My overall triglycerides/cholesterol numbers were out of whack. My overall number was about 230, which isn’t horrible but it had me freaked out and is much higher than what it should be for a healthy heart etc.
I was put on a Zocor, which is a statin. With diet and exercise, statins can help bring ones numbers back in check.
When my lab work came back, it showed an overall drop in my numbers of almost 50 points and that’s pretty amazing. This brings my triglycerides/cholesterol number down to about 180.
I can’t wait to see where I am in another 4 months. 😊
