I wanted to share this because I’m really proud of myself for being able to obtain this for Emmett.

This is a sensory swing, similar to what he has at occupational and physical therapy. He really, really responds to the swing at therapy and I wanted to bring that into our home.

I got a parachute hammock from Amazon for review and my Dad brought over a giant eye hook and a drill.  We screwed the eye hook into the header of the archway and made sure it was safe and secure.

Finally, I simply attached both sides of the hammock to the eye hook via carabiner and voila,  homemade sensory swing.
