It’s getting to be that time of the day in The Autism Dad household.

Dinner is done and everyone’s chilling in the living room.  I’m hiding for a few minutes, in hopes of catching my breath.

All that’s left to do is tubbies and bedtime.

Elliott does pretty well with tubbies but still doesn’t like water touching his face and hair.

Emmett will sit in the tub and depending on where he is that day sensory wise, he might do okay as well.  He never likes water in his face, hair and ears.

Regardless of how well he does, there’s always screaming because he has to get his hair wet in order to wash it.

Afterwards, I’m going to work on meds and bed.

I’ll probably read them a story and pray the Emmett will fall asleep in his bed.  He did pretty well last night, so there’s hope for tonight…. ☺
