What can happen when a child with #Autism is placed in the right educational environment? (Hint – This can)

This is the very first year that Emmett has been in school.  He missed preschool because we pulled him out after he was being mistreated in the Canton City School system.

Going into this school year, he was had a huge disadvantage.

He’s only really been talking for about 2 years.  His expressive language is still a work in progress but my goodness is he doing awesome.

This is a perfect example of what can happen when a child is in the right educational environment.  Summit Academy Schools is so amazing and Emmett is treated with the utmost respect.

As a result, he’s flourishing.  In fact, he’s gone from zero to almost a full year ahead of the rest of his class is just so amazing.

So proud of Emmett and so grateful for his teachers…

Congratulations to Emmett and Summitt Academy and the entire Lost and Tired family! This is really awesome. And to think, not too long ago he couldn’t even talk at all.
