For the past few days, I’ve been sharing how challenging it is to try and give Emmett his eye drops. It’s been a nightmare, filled with kicking, scream and even dry heeving.
I shared previously that Lizze was up all night again and that I got the kids ready for school on my own this morning.
My goal was to let Lizze sleep and not be disturbed but when it comes to getting Emmett dressed, it sometimes takes both of us. Now with his eye drops, it’s hell on earth.
To my complete amazement, Emmett got himself completely dress (even his shoes and socks).
I was completely floored when he brought me his eye drops and asked if we could do them now. He took his drops like a champ and never even flinched. To be completely honest, I’m still sorta in disbelief about the drops.
Everything went buttery smooth and I was able to let Lizze sleep undisturbed…..
I’m so proud of my Emmett John…. 🙂
On a side note, I need you all to do me a solid. If Lizze asks, the kids didn’t listen and I had to wrestle Emmett to get him dressed and medicated this morning. It’ll score me some points.. 🙂
