This one kinda had me a little miffed at first because I didn’t find it until this afternoon.  Elliott is Student of the Month for May.  He’s one of two students give this honor.

What kills me is the fact that he kept this a secret from us.

When I asked him why in the world he would keep this from us, he simply responded with I forgot about it.  He’s so incredibly modest and humble that he didn’t want to make a big deal about it.

This is the opposite of Emmett when he was student of the month earlier in the year.  Emmett was telling everyone that would listen that he was student of the month. Way too cute… 🙂

I made sure that Elliott knew how amazingly proud of him we were and that he should be proud of himself too.

This is the picture I took after I found out about his nomination.  I blurred out the other winner to protect their privacy. Please feel free to leave your congratulations below in the comments.  He would love to read your words of support and encouragement. 🙂
