This was the infusion that almost didn’t happen but we didn’t give up and we figured everything out.  Gavin’s 3rd, at home, subcutaneous IVIG Infusion started late but ended in success.

As with the previous 2 subcutaneous infusions, he had a very brief Autonomic Crisis.  It was short lived and aside from his very rapid heart rate and the weird transient rash, he was relatively a-symptomatic.

The rest of the infusion went well and there were no further side effects.

I wanted to share a few pictures of what we this infusion method looks like as well as the transient rash that is only physically possible when his body is in crisis.

Thankfully everything worked out and all is well… 🙂
