I’m really getting into this baking thing and today’s project is banana nut bread, minus the nuts.  We have to keep this Elliott friendly.

I’ve found that baking is helping to feel like I’m providing for my family.  I know that sounds weird but it does.

It’s kinda like, a way of providing them with food and comfort, all at the same time.  I don’t know, it just makes me feel like I’m doing more for them.

I’m really hoping this turns out because I want to be able to send some in the boys lunches in the morning.

I’ll be sure to let you all know how this one turns out.  Last night’s oatmeal bread didn’t go so well.  It looked horrible but it tasted pretty darn good.  Lizze and I were the only ones adventurous enough to try it.  😉

That’s just how we roll.

banana nut bread my favorite

It’ll turn out great, Rob. We have some ripe bananas and I’m thinking of baking some banana bread myself. That’s if I feel up tomorrow. I have to forego nuts as well. I’m not allergic per say, but I have a nut intolerance. I hope you all enjoy your banana bread.
