It happened once again. The time has come to move the clocks back an hour.  I’m not sure why I’m so unprepared for this because it happens every single year.

Every year I always say the same thing.  I hate the time change.  I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.

My kids take forever to adjust to the one hour change.  Their entire schedule is thrown off and their routines disrupted.  It usually takes a couple of weeks for my boys to adjust and until they do, life is even more challenging than usual.

I’m not sure if it’s more of a sensory thing or just the fact that their bodies don’t agree with what the clock says but either way, it’s not fun.

How do your kids react to the time change?

Yup, miserable here too. Someone please get a brain and change this countrywide … sigh.

Silachan that’s a good idea.  The thing is that we totally missed the time change because we forgot about it.  We only noticed because the time on our phones was different from what was on the store and microwave….  🙂

Ever tried just setting their clocks back by 5 minutes each day leading up to the final one hour change?  If you do 6 minutes a day, that’s 10 days to work with.
