After explaining the situation to the boys, we came up with an alternative that everyone is excited about. We decided to take the boys to see the movie Planes, at the dollar movies.
This has everyone excited and ready to go.
The temperature has climbed into the forties and the forecast no longer predicts rain as it did earlier, but Elliott is still under the weather and while it may not be a popular decision, he has asthma and we aren’t willing to take a chance with his health.
I realize that we may be overreacting but in our life, we tend not to take needless risks because there are too many things that can happen. For that matter, physically Trick or Treating could prove to be too much for Gavin and lead to an autonomic crisis. We have learned our limits and try not to tempt fate.
In the end, all that matters is that the boys are happy and in this case, they are. The added benefit is that Elliott will be indoors.

Sounds like a plan to me!
I think its a great idea, everybody is happy, Gavin will not get overwhelmed and his conditions will be less likely to flare up, its asthma free, can’t beat that!
they are happy and you have one more thing not to be stressed about sounds like a winner!!!
