Have you celebrated any recent victories?

I was wondering if anyone has celebrated any recent victories lately.  The way I see it, a victory is a victory, regardless of how big or small.

I’m not one to candy coat things and spin a negative to be a positive.

My preference is to live in reality.  In my reality, we have good and bad.  Sometimes, the bad outweighs the good.  Sometimes the good outweighs the bad.  It’s a give and take.

There is no way that I could be all positive, all the time because that wouldn’t be fantasy and not reality.

Today I thought I would ask about your recent victories, so we can celebrate with you.  In the morning, I’m going to ask about any recent setbacks as well, so that we can rally around and support you.
To often, I see people feel like they have to be positive all the time.  The truth is that Autism can be a bitch.  It’s also true that Autism can be amazing as well.  I just call it like I see it.  🙂

I have agreed to go to my nephew’s 21st birthday party, even though being around my family is stressful for me and I will probably wind up overstimulated and a bit of a trial for Michael when I get home. It’s just that, 1. I’m trying to be more social and 2. You don’t turn 21 every day.
